Improving security in Ghana: president presents 200 Toyota Camry vehicles to police service

As part of efforts to ensure improved security and the enhancement of law and order in the country, government has presented 200 brand new Toyota Camry vehicles to the Ghana Police Service.

The presentation of the vehicles according president Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is in fulfillment of a promise he made to the Police Service earlier this year.

The president who personally handed the vehicles to the Ghana Police Service through the Minister for the Interior Ambrose Dery said there was more on the way.

He entreated the police Service to the take maintenance of the vehicles seriously and also use them for the purpose for which they were given, to serve and protect the Ghanaian people.

“When the citizenry and police work together, we can be assured of our safety and security, and, then, we can channel all our energies and resources into building a progressive and prosperous nation.” The president said.
