General Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) John Boadu has indicated he is yet to receive the resignation letter of the party’s communications Director Mr. Adomako Baafi.

Mr. Adomako Baafi last week announced his resignation from the communications director role, citing his inability to function effectively as the reason.

He said he was not the type that is used to sitting in the office and needed space to get down to the grassroots to gel with the party supporters where he can be very efficient and effective.

He went further to impress upon the party leadership to quickly find a replacement for him.

But speaking on Accra based Okay Fm and monitored by BestNewsGH.com, Mr. Boadu said ‘’ I haven’t received any communication or letter to the effect that Adomako Baafi has resigned. I am now on my way to the office, maybe it is when I get there that I will get the letter’’ he said.

He however indicated that the party will be holding a joint national executive committee and national council meeting tomorrow to consider a replacement and the appointment of other party officials.
