Odjidja Royal Palace Hotel, an ultra-modern 50 room capacity hotel located in South Kwabenya, in the Dome Kwabenya Constituency in the Greater Accra Region is set to be opened on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 9am.
The hotel, which houses all the modern facilities that befits a luxurious facility, holds two big conference halls, seating 160 persons each, a swimming pool, a gym, a bar and a restaurant among others.
The 3 storey 50 room capacity hotel also boasts of a spacious car park and offers clients the proximity and convenience of driving just one minute from the Makers’ House Chapel or the South Kwabenya Police post.
Chief Executive Officer of Odjidja Royal Palace Hotel, Henry Odjidja Ofoe tells BestNewsGH.com that they have gone through every process legally necessary to operate the facility including the Registrar General’s Department and the Ghana Tourism Authority.
According to him, the hotel currently employs about 31 permanent staff and 9 part time staff, bringing the total staff strength to 40, adding that there are considerations to employ more subsequently.
‘’The idea to establish this hotel came 20 years ago and I started bit-by-bit and by the special grace of God and with dedication, commitment and hard work, this is who far we have come. It gives me joy that we have completed it and about to commission it. I also take joy in the fact that I have been able to contribute my part to the job creation drive in the country. At the moment we have some 31 permanent staff and 9 non-permanent staff. I am happy we are here today’’ he said.
According Mr. Odjidaj Ofoe, the special guest of honour for the grand opening of the hotel will be the Minister for Tourism and Creative Arts, Madam Catherine Afeku among other top dignitaries.
The hotel which overlooks the Kwabenya, Ashongman and Dome townships provides an excellent atmosphere for corporate conferences, wedding receptions, Birthday parties and other outdoor events among others.
