Grand Finale of McDan Entrepreneurship Challenge comes off today; Vice President Bawumia is Special Guest

The Grand Finale of the McDan Entrepreneurship Challenge (MEC) comes off today, Friday, February 21, 2020 at the National Theatre in Accra.

Slated for 5 pm, the event will be headlined by the Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as the Special Guest of Honour.

An initiative of Business Mogul Dr. Daniel McKorley, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the McDan Group of Companies, the McDan Entrepreneurship Challenge gives impetus to young people who have original ideas and are willing to develop these ideas to translate into a viable business. can report that with an ultimate prize of  US$ 100, 000 for the overall winner, the McDan Entrepreneurship Challenge has the cardinal objective of promoting entrepreneurship among the youth of the country.

Selected contestants are taken through a rigorous period of training, mentoring and idea development among others, through to project implementation.

The Grand Finale for Season 1, will see the finalists pitch their ideas and projects before Dr. McKorley, the Vice President and a team consultants from different backgrounds who will service as judges.

At the close of their presentations, the overall winner will be selected and handed the ultimate prize of the US$ 100, 000.
