Board Members of the Ghana Revenue will henceforth join officials of the Authority during visitations to various businesses to recover outstanding taxes that have not been paid.

The move comes on the heels of a directive by the Minister for Finance, Ken Ofori Atta to the Board to take steps to directly partner the management of the Authority to recover all outstanding tax liabilities and debts owed by the businesses.

Beginning today, Thursday, December 13 2018, the Board Members will join the team on the visits to the debtors.

A statement issued by the Commissioner General of the Authority says the move is to further enhance government’s fiscal position as the year draws to a close.
