Gospel Music diva Philipa Baafi prepares to graduate as a Medical Doctor

Gospel Music sensation Philipa Baafi has explained reasons for her seeming absence in the music arena for some time now.

According to her, she has been busy studying to fulfill her long cherished dream of becoming a Medical Doctor.

BestNewsGH.com reports Philipa Baafi as positing in an interview on GBC’s Radio Central that she will soon be graduating as a Medical doctor and that she will use her expertise to compliment the activities of her foundation, the Philipa Baafi Foundation, which is already into the supply of medicine free of charge to the sick, needy and vulnerable.

She said “It is not true that marriage and childbirth made me leave the music scene. I went back to school to continue my ambition to become a Medical Doctor. Already I have a foundation that helps to supply free medicine to the sick, needy and poor in society so I have that passion and burning desire of becoming a medical doctor.’’

She added that “At a point I thought of going back to pursue that childhood dream in order to assist mankind. So thanks to God I’m on course and very soon I will become a fully fledged medical doctor that’s why I was missing from the music scene.’’
