Ex-GFA boss Kwesi Nyantakyi, others denied access to Dormaa Chief’s Palace

Former President of the Ghana Football Association and other campaign officers of one of the candidates contesting for the Ghana Football Association presidential seat were denied access to the Dormaa Chief’s Palace on Monday,ABC News can report.

The team’s visit to the Dormaa chief, Osagyefo Oseadeyo Agyemang Badu II was unsuccessful as their entry to the palace was denied by some angry youth.

In a video spotted by ABC News, the former Ghana Football Association boss, Kwesi Nyantakyi is seen standing by a car and observing altercation between Kofi Manu popularly known as ‘Blue Boy’ and some youth at the palace.

The youth believed the presence of these football personalities is to campaign for one of the candidates running for the Ghana Football Association presidency.

The other member of the entourage was Takyi Arhin also known as ‘Thunder’ who is a Dormaa native.

The Ghana Football Association Normalisation Committee has scheduled October 25 as the day of election for the GFA president.
