The Ministry of Finance has rebutted media reports that the Eva Mends, the immediate past Director of Budget at the Ministry has been kicked out from her position.
News was rife during the week about the removal from office of Madam Mends who is said to be one of the wives of the late ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency, Emmanuel Kyeremanteng Agyarko.
But in reaction to the media reports, the Ministry of Finance clarified that Madam Mends has rather been upgraded to the position of second Deputy Director of the Ministry of Finance.
The Ministry is therefore beseeching the generality of the Ghanaian people to disregard the media reports which are speculating the alleged removal of Madam Eva Mends.
