A sub chief at Akim Tweapease has received severe beating from the youth of the town over allegations that he is into illegal mining, popularly known as galamsey in local parlance.
NtintanHene, Kwadwo Gyapong has been accused of colluding and aiding illegal mining activities by some Chinese Nationals in the area.
Kumasi based Nhyira Fm which first reported the incident, said tension has escalated in the community, following the incident.
