Enhancing teacher education: digital intelligence skills to be included in teacher training curriculum-Education Minister

Minister for Education, Dr.  Mathew Opoku Prempeh has hinted of the inclusion of digital intelligence skills training in teacher training curriculum in the country soon.

The move he explained is to ensure that teachers are adequately equipped to be able create awareness among children.

The Minister made the announcement during a discussion on the need to understand the critical role of digital intelligence in protecting young children from dangerous effects of online technology during a recent international assignment.

The Minister in his submission argued that it was imperative to revamp teacher training curriculum to take into cognizance, the digital trends of the 21st century, while working at improving learning outcomes.
