The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Member of Parliament for Builsa South Constituency in the Upper East Region, Dr. Clement Apaak has urged vigilance in the wake of terror threats in the country.

Dr. Apaak who joined the Muslim community in his constituency to celebrate Eid-Ul Fitr yesterday, made it clear that extremists were neither Christians nor Muslims, but wicked and evil people whose main agenda is to use religion as a bait to disrupt the country’s peace and security.

He extolled parents to play an active role in the activities of their children in the light of increased use of drugs, particularly, tramadol.

‘’What is the benefit of our hard work, better roads, better schools, portable water if your children become drug addicts’’ he said.
