Details: President Akufo-Addo lists developmental projects to be undertaken in Northern Region

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has catalogued development projects to be undertaken by government in the Northern Region.

According the President, Government is determined to exploit and add value to the iron ore deposits at Sheini, finish the 2nd phase of the Tamale Airport project and to construct the Tamale inter-change which will be the first of its kind in the Northern sector of the country.

The President who made the disclosure when the Overlord of Dagbon, Yaa-Na Mahama Abukari II paid a courtesy call on him at the Jubillee House, said government was also determined to see to the imminent completion of the Tamale Tecahing Hospital.

BestNewsGH.com can also report President Akufo-Addo as citing the upgrade of the Yendi Government Hospital to a befitting status, the promotion of sustainable development of Agriculture in the area and the commencement of the Yendi Water project as some of the projects to be carried out by government in the Region.

With these in the pipeline, President Akufo-Addo said he is confident that great days lie ahead for Dagbon under the stewardship of Yaa-Na Mahama Abukari II.

Yaa-Na Mahama Abukari II, was at Jubilee House, to pay a courtesy call on President Akufo-Addo, and to thank him for the role he played in helping to restore peace to Dagbon.
