The Nyinahini Youth Resource Centre at Nyinahini in the Ashanti Region is 95 percent complete and will be due for commissioning in July 2020.
The facility, valued at more 6 Million Ghana Cedis is part of government’s efforts to address the sports infrastructure deficit in the country and also aims at developing the potentials of the youth in the region.
BestNewsGH.com can report the Chief Executive Officer of the National Youth Authority (NYA), Sylvester Tetteh as saying “Government is committed towards developing the potential of the youth in the country and each region is to benefit from similar facility”
The NYA CEO last week inspected the progress of work at the facility and expressed satisfaction with progress so far.
The facility, when completed will have an expandable seating capacity of 5,000, FIFA standard stadium, an 8-lane tartan track, a multipurpose sports court, ICT Resource Centre, youth counseling centre, gym and restaurants.
