A deputy Minister for energy, William Owuraku Aidoo has apolgised for pouring invectives and insults at Broadcaster with the stables of Despite Media group, Kwame Nkrumah Tikesie of okay Fm.

The Minister who was called on phone to clarify issues surrounding the recent controversies and challenges in the power sector burst out in anger on live radio, screaming at the top of his voice that they (radio station) should not disturb him because he was still sleeping.

‘’Why can’t I have my peace, even when I am sleeping you are calling me. Stop that nonsense’’ he fumed at the show host, to the surprise of many listeners.

The Director of Transport at the presidency, Nana Odeneho Oppong had to call into the programme immediately to apologise on behalf of the minister and this was followed by several other calls from friends of the minister who also profusely apologized on his behalf.

But today the Deputy Minister himself who spoke on the same platform apologized for his indiscretion and negative attitude, saying it was not typical of him.

He explained that some other media house had called him at dawn and that the calls were persistent, making him believe the okay fm call was from the same media house.

He then asked for forgiveness and thanked all those who apologized on his behalf before proceeding to engage the host on the substantive issues for which he was being called yesterday.
