Zongo and inner city Ministry lobbies Morocco for educational scholarship for Zongos and inner-cities

The Minister for Inner City and Zongo Development Mustapha Abdul- Hamid (Phd) is exploring educational and scholarship opportunities for zongo and inner-city communities with the government of Morocco.

The Minister yesterday, November 28, 2018 met with Mohammed Farahat, Ambassador of Morocco in Ghana at a brief meeting which was held at the Moroccan Embassy in Accra.

The focus of the discussion was on cooperation in education and scholarship opportunities for residents of Zongo and Inner City communities.

The Minister highlighted the human development needs of Zongo and Inner City communities especially in the area of science, medicine and nursing as well as other health related fields.

Ambassador Farahat said he was pleased with the focus of the discussion and promised to offer the necessary support to ensure the elaborate plans on education discussed comes to fruition.
