The Ghana Revenue Authority has been ordered to stop its ongoing staff promotion examination and interviews with immediate effect.
This was after some staff of the Authority sought redress in an Accra High Court seeking an injunction on the Authority from Proceeding with the Promotion exams and interviews.
Justice Jennifer Akua Tagoe of the High Court granted the request of the 4, Yaw Boakye Agyeman, Naomi Chartey, Ebenezer Annang and Abdalla Dari and has ordered the GRA tohalt the conduct of the 2018 promotion exam and interviews until the final determination of the matter.
In compliance with the court order, the GRA has issued a memo informing staff about the turn of events.
The memo in the possession of BestNewsGH.com said the staff will be informed in due course after the determination of the case which will determine the continuation or otherwise of the promotion exams and interviews.
