Bawumia speaks at IMF’s Future of Work Conference, amplifies drive to leverage technology to formalize economy

The Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has reiterated government’s commitment at leveraging technology to formalize the Ghanaian economy.

The move according to him will also ensure greater technological integration in everyday life and geared towards positioning the country to take advantage of the 4th industrial revolution.

The Vice President was speaking at the Future of Work Conference Organised by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Accra today, Monday, December 17, 2018.

“The Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo led government would continue to adapt innovative technologies to suit the unique demands of Ghanaians, making it possible to enjoy greater benefits from technology” he said.
