General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketiah has indicated that he will not descend into the gutters with his party’s former central regional chairman, Allotey Jacobs.
According to him, he has no time for frivolous talk and will continue to engage in meaningful and productive ventures and activities that will be beneficial to the NDC.
General Mosquito as the NDC chief scribe is popularly known was reacting to suggestions by Mr. Allottey Jacobs that he (Asiedu Nketiah) is a spent force, weak and cannot perform the duties of a General Secretary of the party effectively anymore.
Mr. Allottey Jacobs said his party’s General Secretary is tired and must not seek re-election at the party’s upcoming national delegate’s conference due in a few weeks.
But reacting to the accusations, General Mosquito said he was not perturbed about the vituperations of his fellow comrade in the NDC.
‘’I have no time for such nonsense talk. I am fixated at performing my duties and he (Allottey Jacobs) is not the one to judge my performance and mark my script. He should leave it to the party delegates. If they reject me, then I will know I am a spent force. We must not encourage such nonsense’’ he fired back on an Accra based local radio station and monitored by BestNewsGH.com
Mr. Asiedu Nketiah described Mr. Allottey Jacobs as a joker and comedian who should not be taken seriously.
