Managing editor of the insight newspaper, Kwesi Pratt Junior has attributed the sorry state of the country to the educated elite, accusing them of deliberately beclouding their sense of judgment while closing their eyes to the ills going on the country.

‘’A whole professor called me recently after I arrived in my office from a radio discussion and asked me who told me the economy is hard and that Ghanaians are facing hardship in the country. He insulted on my own phone. He had the effrontery to call me on my own phone to insult me for saying the economy is hard. Can you imagine that? A whole professor’’ he said on Accra based radio gold and monitored by BestNewsGH.com

Mr. wondered the kind of graduates that will be churned out by the said professor and the university he teaches, adding that such graduates are bound to fail in life and automatically become misfits in society.

He wants government to be truthful with the people in the country by telling them the true economic situation in the country and also take steps to ameliorate their suffering.
