A Facebook user has lampooned Chairman of Groupe Nduom, Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom, telling him to shut up over the collapse of GN Bank and stop disturbing Ghanaians about what role government played or did not play in the whole matter.

Amondiwo Vincent-Murphy accused the Groupe Nduom founder of significantly contributing to the collapse of DKM Microfinance Company.

His anger at the businessman and politician was registered when he commented on a story published by this website in which Dr. Nduom asked why no indigenous Ghanaian Bank has been able to establish outside the shores of Ghana in other African Countries, the UK, Europe or Asia.

In his opinion, government’s poor handling of businesses and Ghanaian companies is responsible for the inability of Ghanaian Banks to thrive.

‘’Why is it that no Ghanaian bank has crossed boundary and established in other African countries or the UK, Europe, Asia? But banks from Nigeria, South Africa, France, etc have established in Ghana? Why is it that we cannot name indigenous Ghanaian private sector companies that have been in business successfully for more than 50 years? Why do we prefer state-owned or foreign owned to Ghanaian owned?  We can’t allow our neighbors or school mates or “friends” to succeed? Why is it that when a Ghanaian company faces challenges, the answer is close it, make noise and disgrace the owners?  Aren’t challenges meant to be solved?’’ Dr. Nduom he quizzed.

But Amondiwo Vincent-Murphy believes Dr. Nduom is reaping what he sowed some few years back when he waged a campaign against the now defunct DKM.

He wrote ‘’U took part in closing DKM down so it’s now your turn. U went round campaigning against DKM’’.
