Old Boys of Lawra Senior High school on Friday 9th November, 2018 donated a borehole to the Lawra Tuori Community.
The president of the Association who did the handing over said, the school has shared boundaries with the community and has enjoyed the peace and cordial relationship that exists between the school and the community for 50 years and still counting.
He said ‘’It is on this note that, the old Boys decided to recognize the community by drilling a hand pump borehole for them’’.
Hon. Gaanu Justice who received the borehole at short ceremony thanked the Old Boys for the recognition and kind gesture and promised that, the cordial relationship will continue to exist between them; the people of Tuori and the school.
Members of the community expressed their profound appreciation to the old boys for the gesture and promised to maintain it to ensure that it lasts.
