A Parliamentary aspirant of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Wa East Constituency of the Upper West Region, Nasirdeen Adam Baduong is promising massive development in the area should the people give him their mandate at the 2020 polls.
According to him, his forebears in the party in the constituency have played their part, done their bit and paid their dues and should leave the rest to him, as a more youthful and formidable person to finish.
Speaking to Prince Daud Katouri of Radio progress on sabbatical reggae show and monitored by BestNewsgh.com, Mr. Baduong bemoaned the fact that the Wa East constituency remains the only Constituency in the upper west region that doesn’t have even a millimetre of tarred or good road.
This trend he opined does not help the many farmers in the area who need to transport their farm produce to the regional capital.
According to him he will also see to it that the huge women population in the area are assisted to do small scale businesses to augment their farming incomes, which is but a onetime activity in the year.
Mr. Nasirdeen Baduong has been touring the constituency, interacting with the constituents and wishing them glad tidings in the new year.
The visit also took him to all corners of the constituency during which he also held back-door meetings with party executives.
He said as a youthful person, he has got a lot of positive ideas that will plunge the constituency into massive development, in the ensuing years even if the people do not give him the mandate to lead them.
