Startimes and matters arising: My hands are clean- First Lady

The first lady, Mrs. Rebecca Akufu-Addo has denied any involvement with Chinese firm Startimes as being alleged by sections of the Ghanaian media.

She has also denied any relationship of any sort between the company and her foundation, the Rebecca Foundation.

In statement issued by the office of the first lady in reaction to news making the rounds that the first lady and her foundation had links with the company which has become a subject controversy emanating from a government contract, the first lady’s office admitted that the company offered them some football kits to be delivered through her foundation to the SOS Children’s village.
