The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) is calling for the dismissal of the Minister for Youth and Sports Isaac Asiamah for non-performance.

According to the party, the Minister does not seem to have a grasp and understanding of what the mandate of the Ministry of Youth and Sports is, and must be shown the exit by the president.

Former Ashanti Regional Youth Organiser of the party Brogya Genfi who made the call today November 29, 2018 on an Accra based radio station said the minister is running down the game of football in the country while superintending over corruption at the ministry.

‘’He lacks an appreciation of the workings of the Ministry. He doesn’t understand the mandate of the ministry he is supervising. It is Ministry of Youth and Sports. What single project has he initiated to help the youth in the country? not a single one of them. He has completely run down the Ministry and he must be shown the exit’’ he said.

He opined that the Minister has nothing to show since he was appointed Sports Minister and has been a complete bunch of failure and an embarrassment to the  country, through the Australia scandal.

‘’The Ghana Football Association has become a burden on the country due to his incompetent management of the effect of the Anas Number 12 expose to the extent that it required the intervention of FIFA’’ he added.
