National Organiser of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Sammi Awuku yesterday received African WBO Light Weight Champion, Emmanuel “Game Boy” Tagoe and his PRO at the party’s National Headquarters in Accra.
The Visit by the boxer was to present his championship title to the National Organiser and the New Patriotic party and to show appreciation to the party for the continued support and prayers for the success of his boxing career.
Mr. Awuku used the occasion to reiterate the commitment of the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo led administration to continue to support the various actors and disciplines within the sporting fraternity.
On behalf of the NPP, Mr. Awuku congratulated the boxing champion and his team on their latest achievement, adding that the party was looking forward to his Great fight in January 2019.
Receiving the ‘Game Boy’ and his team alongside Mr. Sammi Awuku were Nana Sarfo, Personal Assistant to Deputy Chief of Staff, Francis Asenso Boakye and the hardworking Greater Accra Regional Organiser of the NPP, Prince Obeng.
