It has emerged that contrary to media reports the second lady’s delegation to Geneva Switzerland for this year’s World Health Organization (WHO) Global Conference on Air Pollution to be held in Geneva, Switzerland totaled 20 people, the actual number of people in her entourage are 5, including herself, making the number 6.
The list of the second lady’s entourage include Emmanuel Kwame Twum Asiamah Esq. projects coordinator, Zelia Amsat Osman, aide, Kwame Ofori Danso, press secretary, Joyreen Adubea Gyewu, ADC, and Nasiru Salifu, Security.
A letter purported to have been issued by the Office of the Second Lady addressed to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, requested the Minister’s support to enable the appropriate Shengen visas to be obtained for a twenty member delegation including the Vice President’s wife to enable them attend the said conference slated for 28th October to 2nd November 2018.
The said list included Senior aides, Security officers, protocol officers, media aides, photographers and A Lady-in-waiting among others.
Government came out and forcefully denied the reports.
