Sammi Awuku urges massive turn out for new voters’ register in Northern Region

The National Organiser of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Sammi Awuku has pitched camp in the Northern Region where he is whipping up support for the upcoming compilation of the New Voters’ Register by the Electoral Commission.

Mr. Awuku who has been in the Northern sector on official assignment, together with the Northern Regional Organiser of the NPP, Alhaji Abdul Rashid COP, visited several communities and youth groups to interact with them and drum home the need for them to go out in droves during the exercise, which has been slated to begin from April 18, 2020 and register.

The visit which took the hardworking and charismatic NPP National Organiser and his team to some ghettos in the Region, saw the team carry out what can easily pass for an effective voter education centred on the New Voters’ Register.

Mr. Awuku who is also the Chairman of the Governing Board of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA), took the opportunity to impress upon the people, the need to work hard at retaining President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the NPP in power.
