Sammi Awuku inspires Zongo girls; admonishes them not to get weary of chasing success

The National Organiser of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Sammi Awuku has motivated and inspired girls in Zongo Communities, admonishing them to rise above the stereotypes and strive for success.
According to the Board Chairman of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA), they must never relent in their quest to achieve success no matter how daunting it may seem.
Mr. Awuku who participated in the Zongo Girls Rise Project at the Nima Maamobi Community Learning Centre yesterday, Thursday, September 12 2019, described as fulfilling, the opportunity to have an insightful conversation with the young girls on career development.
The event was on the theme ‘’Career Development and Rising Above Stereotypes” and saw various stakeholders in attendance.


Mr. Awuku stressed the need for the girls to first identify their potential,work at achieving their dreams, read widely and engage in positive networking.
He also encouraged them to find strength in their innermost self when they encounter difficulties in their quest to achieve success.
‘’Education is integral in achieving sustainable development and should be encouraged at all levels’’ he added.
