Rwanda: African leaders move to revolutionize Agriculture

African leaders have initiated measures that will empower food crop, fish and livestock farmers across the continent, in move aimed at revolutionizing the Agriculture sector.

The leaders who made the declaration to support the farmers were unanimous in their belief and conviction that Agriculture plays a very cardinal role in the economies of the various nations.

President Nana Addo Dankwa who participated in the 2018 African Green Revolution Forum (AGRF) in the Rwandan capital of Kigali said “Agriculture remains the fuel that powers all our activities in Africa and as leaders we pledged to our food crop farmers, fish farmers and livestock farmers that they will have all the support the deserve from our governments.

The 2018 African Green Revolution Forum is on the theme “Lead. Measure. Grow. Pathways to Turn Smallholder Farmers into Sustainable Agribusiness’’.
