Reforms in education sector is to ensure delivery of quality outcomes-Bawumia at world teachers’ day

Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has indicated that government is committed to undertaking several reforms in the education sector to ensure the delivery of quality outcomes.

Speaking as the special guest of honour at the maiden edition of the Ghana Teacher Prize and Awards 2018, to mark world teachers’ day, Dr. Bawumia said ‘’the government of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is fully committed to undertaking several reforms in our education sector to ensure that the education we are providing for our children is fit for purpose and is able to deliver quality education outcomes’’.

The vice president conveyed the gratitude of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to all teachers in the country for their contribution to the education sector in the country.

He said ‘’we thank our noble teachers, the “unsung heroes and heroines” for the dedication and selflessness exhibited towards the improvement of education in Ghana’’
