President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will be the special guest of honour at the final rally of the ruling New Patriotic Party in the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency, today, Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at the La Bawaleshie Park.
The rally marks the end of the Party’s campaign in the lead up to the 31st January 2019, by-election in the constituency, occasioned by the passing of the NPP Member of Parliament, Emmanuel Kyeremanteng Agyarko.
A statement issued and signed by the Party National Organiser, Sammi Awuku stated in part that ‘’ Also in attendance shall be His Excellency the Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the Chief of Staff, Madam Frema Osei Opare, The NPP Parliamentary Candidate, Lydia Seyram Alhassan and party executives across all levels as well as Members of Parliament, Ministers of State and Appointees of Various Institutions’’
According the statement, the mammoth rally which promises to be historic and unprecedented in the constituency’s history, will start from 12 noon.
‘’ The party is accordingly inviting all and sundry particularly party sympathizers to this all important rally, which promises to be historic and unprecedented in the history of the constituency. The rally shall be held at the La Bawaleshie Park within the Constituency from 12 pm’’ the statement added.
The final rally will in no small measure heavily boost the campaign of the NPP candidate for the election, Lydia Seyram Alhassan, who has been tipped to win the election by political watchers.
