President Akufo-Addo swears in Dr. Bernard Okoe Boye as Deputy Minister of Health

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has sworn into office, Dr Bernard Oko Boye, as Deputy Minister of Health.

The swearing-in ceremony which was held at the Jubilee House in Accra, saw the President administer the Oaths of Office, Secrecy, and Allegiance.

BestNewsGH.com reports President Akufo-Addo as imploring Dr. Okoe Boye to bring on board, his talent and energy to aid government and to ensure a robust health sector.

The president minced no words in cautioning that the challenge ahead, particularly in this era of COVID-19, was huge.

Dr Oko Boye who is Member of Parliament (MP) for Ledzokuku, thanked the President for the opportunity given him to serve the country.

He assured him that he “will give off his best to succeed in the fight against the coronavirus.”
