Police arrest one suspect in connection with murder of Kumasi Nurse

Reports reaching BestNewsGH.com indicates that the Ashanti Regional Police Command has arrested a man suspected to have played a very key role in the gang-rape and murder of Ruth Ama Eshun, the nurse in Kumasi who went missing.

Ruth who was reported missing after failing to return home from work on Monday February 3, 2020 and was later found dead.

She was a staff of the Ghana Health Service and stationed at the Sewua Health Centre in the Ashanti Region.

BestNewsGH.com can report that after the body was discovered, the police were called in to convey it, and has since been deposited at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital morgue.

Even before the cause of death is ascertained, eye witnesses who saw the body, speculate that she could have been raped and killed.

At the scene where the body was discovered, police investigators found a mobile phone, suspected to belong to one of the people involved in the crime.

The deceased was survived by her husband and three children.
