The People’s National Convention (PNC) has decided to offer clemency to officials or members who have been suspended or dismissed for various offences in a move aimed at uniting the party ahead of the 2020 General Elections.

The National Executive Committee (NEC) of the Party at a meeting in the Central Regional Capital, Cape Coast on Saturday September 14 2019 also resolved to elect a flag bearer for the party by March 30, 2020.

A statement under the hand of the National Chairman of the PNC, Bernard Mornah read in part that ‘’ This, in the view of NEC would present a solid united front for the party to position itself strongly enough for the impending elections of 2020 and beyond. By the outcome of the meeting, NEC gives the strongest indication and clearest assurance that the PNC is poised to re-position itself as the party of choice to the Ghanaian masses.’’
