The Presidential Candidate of the People’s National Convention (PNC), David Apasera is commencing his campaign tour for the 2020 elections on Tuesday, November 10, 2020.
A statement issued by the party said the tour would start from the North East Region with a courtesy call on the Nayiri, the overlord of the Mamprugu Traditional Area.
The statement signed by the National Communications Secretary of the PNC, Awudu Ishaq, said David Apasera’s campaign would focus on the theme ‘Delivering Prosperity to All Ghanaians’.
“And as part of the tour, the PNC Presidential Hopeful would be interacting with farmers, market women, artisans and youth groups across the length and breadth of the North-East Region. The Flag bearer and his team would take the opportunity to digest the content of the PNC Manifesto on job creation, Economic Self-sufficiency, Free Education as well as Free Medical Care to the audience.”
The statement added that “as the PNC aims to get a respectable representation in the next Parliament, the campaign would focus a little bit more on the Constituencies where the party has fielded candidates.”
Accompanying the flag bearer on the tour are the Vice Presidential Candidate Dr Divine Ayivor, the National Chairman Moses Dani Baah, the National Treasurer Emmanuel Akazabre, the National Organizer, Abass Nuhu, National Communications Secretary, Awudu Ishaq, National Women’s Organizer Hidaya Ibrahim and the National Youth Organizer Mark Ewusi Arko.
