The Area head for the Church of Pentecost for Kasoa in the Central Region, Apostle Ekow Badu Wood has impressed upon husbands to pay their wives a monthly salary for keeping their homes.

According to him, the wives deserve a monthly pay because of their invaluable contribution to keeping the home and getting same to run effectively.

Speaking at the end of a 21 day prayer and fasting revival at the New Bortianor District Prayer Centre, popularly known as Nazareth, Apostle Ekow Badu Wood, who is a former General Secretary of the Church of Pentecost said husbands must appreciate their wives for the peace and stability they enjoy at home.

The revered man of God recounted some time ago when his wife traveled and left their children with him and how he struggled to cater for them in terms of cooking, bathing conveying them to school and helping out in their homework among others.

He said the ability to think of what meal to prepare alone was a daunting task he faced during that period, confessing that, it was then that he appreciated his wife for her contribution to the home.

He averred that the crucial role played by women and wives in general is one that can never be overlooked, explaining that a fair way of showing gratitude for such selfless service to the family is for the husbands to pay them a monthly salary as a form of motivation to encourage them to do more.

Apostle Ekow Badu Wood added that the peace, calm and stability enjoyed in many homes emanates from the good works of wives who go the extra mile to pull all the strings to ensure sanity in the home.
