A pastor escaped death by whiskers when passengers in a commercial bus in Anambra State, Nigeria, gave him severe beatings after condoms fell from his Bible mistakenly.
BestNewsGH.com sources intimate that the bus preacher was on one of his usual preaching sessions in the commercial bus, to minister the word of God, pray for the travelers and wish them safe journey to their respective destinations when the incident occurred.
This portal is informed that but for the timely intervention of the police, the preacher would have been killed due to the amount of force the people employed in physically assaulting him.
A passenger who gave an eyewitness account said ‘’we were moved by the self-acclaimed pastor’s preaching, anointing of God was everywhere; some passengers gave their lives to Christ and accepted Him as their Lord and personal saviour. But “When he opened his bible to collect an offering from passengers who wished to assist him in his ministry, three condoms suddenly fell off his bible.’’
He continued that “The angry men in the bus who had been having bad feelings about pastors, who preach in buses along various parks as an undercover for begging got really angry and pounced on him. The man of God started shouting and pleading for forgiveness saying he does that as business not really for true word of God ”
Reports are that 2 arrests have been made so far, for further investigations.
