Party bigwigs hounding me out of Nhyiaeso NPP Primaries-Stephen Amoah

Chief Executive Officer (CEO)  of the Microfinance and Small Loans Centre (MASLOC), Stephen Amoah popularly known as ‘Sticka’ has revealed that he is unwillingly considering the shielding of his parliamentary ambitions in the Nhyiaeso constituency as ‘big men’ within the New Patriotic Party (NPP) are incessantly impressing on him to step down, MyNewsGh.com reports.

In an emotional account on Kumasi FM monitored by MyNewsGh.com, Sticka explained that he is dazed at the calls on him by some NPP bigwigs to step down in his bid to wrestle incumbent MP, Kennedy Kankam for the Nhyiaeso constituency parliamentary candidate slot.

Citing a quotation from the Bible, ‘Ecclesiastes 3:1’, Mr. Amoah stated that the truth shall prevail and that there are generational curses that hunts the evil and he is confident that God will eventually speak on his behalf.

He continued that the NPP is fully aware he is better fit to represent the constituency than the incumbent MP especially with his eloquence and presentation abilities that Kennedy Kankam lacks and so is surprised that the party is rather not impressing on Kennedy Kankam to rather step down.

“I’m being impressed to step down. I’m being advised…I think I have said enough. I’m being impressed upon to step down and it’s only God that knows why.

I have no idea, nobody understands why they are doing that. Everybody is worried. I’m not exaggerating…For now, I’m considering the idea of stepping down.

Kennedy Kankam is my brother. He is not my enemy. I won’t despise him but if it’s parliamentary responsibilities and functions, presentation of performances and responsibilities of institutions and ministries in the floor and debating the NDC… putting the government performance at the committee level into the public domain and making sure that you don’t dwindle government’s good Will among the people per what we do, it requires eloquence, it requires subject matter knowledge and understanding.

Everybody knows that I am ahead of Kennedy Kankam in these areas so when it comes to parliamentary works, I am better than Kennedy. He knows it.  So why will they  not impress on him to step down.”

“Politics should be next to godliness rather than deception. For me, I live the fight to God. As the brothers of Joseph couldn’t dim his shine so shall God come through for me. The truth shall always prevail.” He stated.

A deep throat source within the NPP, however, told MyNewsGh.com on strict anonymity that President Akufo-Addo in early March 2020, at a funeral in the Ashanti region told Sticka to either step down as the CEO of MASLOC or surcease his parliamentary ambition to allow the Nhyiaeso incumbent MP, Kennedy Kankam go unopposed.
