NPP to invade Kwahu on Saturday, VP Bawumia to headline health walk and mini rally

Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia will on Saturday lead the youth wing of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in a health walk and mini rally at Kwahu in the Eastern Region ahead of the Easter celebrations.

A statement issued by the National Youth Organiser of the NPP, Henry Nana Boakye said the events are part of the youth wing’s activities for the Easter celebrations.

The Vice President according to the statement will be accompanied by  National and Regional Officers of the NPP, Ministers of State, CEOs, MMDCEs, constituency executives and many other government appointees.

‘’The walk starts at 5:00 am  in Atibie, through  Mpreaso, Obomeng and end at Obo the Jay’s lodge where a mammoth rally will be held to climax the event’’.

The statement further stated that ‘’The Easter festivities will afford the Youth Wing  the opportunity to reach out to the many holiday makers who visit Kwahu for Easter. The health Walk and Rally will present  another fine opportunity to trumpet the many achievements of the Akufo Addo led NPP government’’.

The NPP National Youth Organsier said the event promises to be the biggest outdoor event in the history of Easter festivities in Kwahu and entreated the youth to come out in their numbers to make it a huge success.
