The ruling New Patriotic Party is expected to announce details of the guidelines and modalities for the conduct of an extra-ordinary delegates conference on May 4 2019, to elect officers for vacant regional positions following the creation of six new regions.
The Party’s General Secretary, John Boadu is expected to address a press conference today, Sunday April 7, 2019 at 2pm at the Party’s Headquarters.
Information available to this website indicates that other national executives of the party are expected to be part of the press conference which will also address other important party matters.
Recently the party made some appointments to the regional chairmanship positions all of which are in acting capacities in the newly created regions.
