Legal Practitioner and former New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament for Bantama Constituency in the Ashanti Region, Dr. Henry Kwabena Kokofu has vouched for the versatility of Opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) national Chairmanship aspirant, Samuel Ofosu Ampofo.
According him, of all the aspiring National Chairman candidates, Mr. Ofosu Ampofo is the most active and visible among the rest.
Close to 8 bigwigs in the opposition National Democratic Congress including Alhaji Huudu Yahaya, Mr. Dan Abudakpi, Mr. Danny Annan and Mrs Betty Mould Iddrisu have indicated their intent to contest the party’s national Chairmanship position.
But Dr. Kokofu who is also a forestry consultant believes Mr. Ofosu Ampofo who is a national vice chairman of the party stands tall among his compatriots and will make a good Chairman for the biggest opposition party in the country.
Mr. Ofosu Ampofo is among several candidates seeking to replace current National Chairman, Kofi Portuphy who sources close to BestNewGH.com say has decided not to seek re-election.
