The ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) today, Friday, October 18, 2019 interacted with traders and businesses in Kaneshie.
Led by the its hardworking and charismatic National Organiser, Sammi Awuku, the NPP explained many of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s interventions and programmes which are aimed at bringing relief to the business community to the traders.
Among some of the issues discussed during the interaction was the financial sector clean-up being undertaken by government.
Mr. Awuku who is also the Board Chairman of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA) assured the traders and business operators of government’s determination to protect and secure depositors’ funds.
The traders on their part expressed gratitude to President Akufo-Addo and his government for giving hope to their children through the flagship Free SHS policy and other social interventions to bridge the inequality gap in Ghana.
Mr Awuku was particularly happy to learn about the initiatives and willingness of the traders and business operators to partner government to raise more revenue towards the development of the nation.
