The National Lottery Authority (NLA) and Ghana Post are considering possible areas of mutual cooperation that will support national development.
The Director-General of the National Lottery Authority Mr. Sammi Awuku and the Managing Director of Ghana Post, Mr. Bice Osei Kuffuor, otherwise known as Obour, in their meeting on February 15, 2023, also discussed matters pertaining to how both organizations can increase revenue.
This was after the Managing Director of Ghana Post, accompanied by some celebrity ambassadors of the company called on Mr. Awuku in his office to present a special Valentines gift to him.
Speaking to BestNewsGH.com on the sidelines of the visit, Mr. Awuku intimated that the meeting also saw them discuss ways of making their respective organisations attractive.
‘’We discussed very pertinent issues of mutual benefit to the NLA and Ghana Post. We are looking at how we can position our organisations to help significantly in national development. We agreed also that we must work at increasing revenue and also become attractive. As people who can be counted among the bracket of the youth in our dear country, we believe it is imperative that we endeavor to become employers of choice for our colleagues and the youth’’ the Director-General of the NL A averred.
Mr. Awuku added that the meeting also took cognizance of the role the NLA’s Good Causes Foundation can play in offering support to communities in the country.
