The Mayor of Tamale, Iddrisu Musah Superior has cautioned the pubic against parting with various sums of monies for the construction of a proposed new palace for the Overlord of Dagbon, the Yaa Naa.
According to the Mayor, the various teams are still meeting, consulting and discussing the Dagbon Kingdom Palace Project (DKPP) and will soon publish the Framework for implementation.
He said for now, no money is being accepted and that no Bank or MTN Account details have been announced, adding that no payment is being received at the moment.
Mr. Musah Superior said a meeting will be held at the Aliu Mahama Sports stadium on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 2pm to deliberate further on the project and the way forward.
The Mayor took to his Facebook Page and wrote ‘’no money accepted now for the Dagbon Kingdom Palace Project. We are still consulting and will soon publish the framework for implementation. We haven’t announced any Bank or Mtn account or any other account details for monies to be paid or received. In fact, there is no Bank or Teleco Service Provider account in the name of the #DKPP’’.
