N/R: Bamboi bridge to be closed 20th -27th September for repairs

Government has announced plans to close the Black Volta Bridge at Bamboi in the Northern region to vehicular traffic for a period seven days to allow for repair works.

A statement issued by the Minister for roads and highways announcing the closure said the bridge will be closed from Thursday 20th September 2018 at 6pm and will be reopened on Thursday 27th September 2018 at 6pm.

The statement said it had become necessary to close the bridge to enable the bridge maintenance unit of the Ghana Highway Authority repair defects on it.

The statement also announced alternative routes.
