In January 2018, we started the journey to change the face of entrepreneurship in this country with the McDan Entrepreneurship Challenge. From 7,000 applicants. If you have the eye, you can see that any of the businesses represented here or what you saw could be a million dollar business. I have been there before and I’m telling you. From 7,000 applicants, with tentacles from the 16 regions, in Ghana, there were multiple shortlists to the finalists that we see today. These young individuals were mentored, coached, groomed and went through a rigorous keen competition for 13 weeks in a reality show that aired on a number of local Television stations, and I can tell you, that programme alone has boosted their confidence and right now, each and everyone of them throughout the TV presentations, can sell their businesses.’’
