Embattled Chief Executive Officer of distressed gold trading firm, Menzgold, Nana Appiah Mensah has said his assets far more exceeds his liabilities and that he is more than willing to come to Ghana and pay all customers should government clear him to return home from Dubai where he has been held in detention for some months now.

According to him, the issue should not be politicized since politicians from both sides of the political divide including the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) also have their monies locked up in the company.

These were revealed by musician cum politician Kwame A-Plus in what he said was a 12 minute phone conversation with Nana Appiah Mensah, popularly known as NAM 1.

“Some NDC and NPP big guys have money with Menzgold. Some poor people, some widows even invested the donations they received at their husband’s funerals. Why will I run away with all this money? I’m waiting for government to give the greenlight for me to come to Ghana and arrange payment. I understand that some paperwork must be done so I’m waiting. If government is ready today, I will be in Ghana today. My assets exceed my liabilities. Why can’t I pay?” the embattled Menzgold CEO is alleged to have said.

He further impressed upon all customers of the company to remain patient while steps are taken to resolve the matter saying that ‘’ I’m Ghana’s number one accredited problem solver. It may take time, but I’m sure this one too shall pass successfully. Just a little patience my people. Bribiaa b? y? ok!!!
