Mobile Telecommunications Giant, MTN has embarked on a customer outreach in Southern Ghana, encapsulating Ho in the Volta Region, Cape Coast in the Central Region and Koforidua in the Eastern Region.
The customer outreach according to Prince Owusu Nyarko, Regional Senior Manager incharge of the South-West Business District of MTN, is aimed at creating a platform for the company and its clients to interact, gel and discuss matters of mutual benefit.
According to him, the move is aimed at listening to the concerns of the customers and to fashion and proffer solutions in order that they will continue to enjoy a win-win relationship.
Mr. Owusu Nyarko who just took over as the Senior Regional Manager for the South-West Business District and was on his first customer outreach in the area said ‘’we have set aside the customer outreach day to bond and gel with our customers. It affords us the opportunity to interact with them and learn at first hand, their challenges and help them resolve these challenges’’.
He explained that the company during the interaction also sought to connect customers who are not yet on the 4G network to enable them enjoy speed in internet connectivity and to enjoy superior quality experience.
‘’We have also introduced a brand new smart feature phone to the customers and it is very affordable. We are aware of the challenges some of our customers go through in order to own some of these smart phones so that they can also connect with the world via Facebook, Whatsapp and so on. And so we have brought a phone that can do all that and it is going for as low as 150 Ghana cedis’’ he said.
He added that the MTN team also used the opportunity to address some issues hampering the smooth operations of the customers including Mobile Money fraud and how to protect their pin codes among others.
