Josie Harris, former girlfriend of boxing sensation Floyd Mayweather has been reported dead in Los Angeles.

Josie, 40 was found dead in her car by police personnel in California.

BestNewsGH.com is informed she was found outside her home in Valencia, Los Angeles county on Tuesday night.

Authorities say they are treating the matter as a death investigation as they do not suspect any fowl play.

Mayweather and Josie were said to have had a very toxic relationship while they were together between 1995 and 2010.

The boxing champion was sentenced to two months in prison for domestic violence against Josie in 2010.
