Veteran Ghanaian Actor, Kofi Adjorlolo has accused Ghanaian movie producers of impoverishing actors in the country.

According to him, most movie producers owe himself and his colleagues in the industry and are refusing to pay them, even when they are aware that they (the actors) are poor and suffering.

BestNewsGH.com can report an angry Mr. Adjorlolo as alleging that some of the producers even refuse to pay young actors, explaining that most of the young actors have the passion for acting and so are okay even when they are not paid.

Mr. Adjorlolo who was speaking to Ibrahim Ben Bako of Accra based Joy TV, averred that he has contributed significantly to the movie industry in the country over the years, but has nothing to show for it.

BestNewsGH.com reports him as saying ‘’Some of them owe me 2,000 Ghana Cedis, others 3, 000 and others 1,000. They have refused to pay and I am using this medium to tell them to pay me my money, we are suffering.’’
